Q: What do you like best about being a General Manager?

A: I absolutely love inspiring and connecting with my team! Chipotle is my second home, and everyone I work with has become my family. Seeing them develop and succeed, in and out of Chipotle, while knowing I helped contribute to that, is what keeps me motivated.

 

Q: What do you think your future holds for you here?

A: There’s no telling, and by that I mean the potential for growth at Chipotle is never ending, which is what separates the company from others and really makes it stand out. It is really amazing to see how much someone can grow within the company, even without any experience, because Chipotle gives you the training and tools to succeed.

 

Q: How has Chipotle impacted your life?

A: There are too many ways for me to list! It has helped me with culinary skills, business skills, and people skills, just to name a few. The biggest impact it’s had on my life is how Chipotle has developed me as a person. It’s changed the way I view life immensely, from looking at situations differently and how to react accordingly, to building better connections with others. It’s really matured me throughout the learning process, and the impact it has on me is incredible.

 

Q: What advice do you have for someone who is interested in a career at Chipotle?

A: Apply now. All I can really say is take it from me. I’m 19 years old, graduated from high school last year, and I’m currently opening a new Chipotle in Ohio as the General Manager and it only took me 1 year and 2 months. On top of that, I have connected with so many people that I see as family and it doesn’t even feel like a job to me. To me, that’s almost unheard of, but that’s the amazing thing about Chipotle.

 

Q: What is your go-to order at Chipotle?

A: I personally love getting chips to dip in a bowl! A little brown rice, chicken and chorizo, with mild, a little hot, corn, sour, cheese and of course guac!
