Being a great manager is one of the keys to advancing your career at Chipotle. But learning to be an effective leader can be difficult – there’s no one-size-fits-all management style. Never fear! Chipotle and Guild Education are teaming up to help you take your management skills (and career) to the next level.
“I signed up for this training course because I wanted to learn more about myself. In just a few months, I have already been able to use this knowledge to become a better manager and leader.”
– Mike, General Manager at Chipotle
Through Guild’s accelerated management training course, you’ll gain access to the tools and resources you need to master your own management style in just a few months. Seriously – it happens that fast. This program packs a full semester of classes into just 16 weeks, digging into topics that range from effective communication to different leadership styles. Each week, you’ll work through readings, assignments, and the coolest (and most helpful) part of this program: a live video session with Chipotle employees from all around the country.
During these live video sessions, employees are able to share real life experiences and tips on how to become a better manager. As Brian, a General Manager enrolled in this program, explained, “These live sessions hold you accountable for making sure you really understand the assigned readings each week.” Having a deeper knowledge of the material means these student-employees can quickly put their new skills into practice in their restaurants. Alexandria, another General Manager taking the course, added that “it’s really helpful to hear what has worked (and what hasn’t) for the other managers with their teams.”
Still not convinced this is the training program for you? Here’s a few added bonuses: this course is worth college credit that can transfer to partner universities through our educational assistance program – it’s a great way to get a head start on a college degree. Plus, eligible student-employees can take advantage of all the other perks the program has to offer, including a personal success coach and up to $5,250 a year in tuition reimbursement.
